Brighton-Tubas Region Friendship and Solidarity Group

Sussex University Students Union has affiliated to Al Quds Open Universty in Tubas town. A group of 10 students from Sussex Universty visited Tubas in March 2007 and decided to twin the two universities. A referendum was held at Sussex university which decided to go ahead with the twinning.

The Universities of Resistance group have held public meetings about what its like to be a student under occupation, participated in campaigns against companies profiting from the occupation in the UK:
